**Two services, one simple way to hire a provider**

Lockedproblem Tree Service is a referral service. We do not cut, climb or haul. Independent providers in our network do the work, and we help you reach them.

This site covers two services.

• Tree Removal: planned work on a tree that is dead, leaning, diseased or in the way. Many providers also offer stump grinding, which shreds the stump below ground level.
• Emergency Tree Removal: a tree that has fallen or split after a storm, or one that threatens your home. This includes storm tree clearance and tree falling service for trees already down.

Both pages follow the same plan. Ask before you hire. Quote in writing. Each page lists the questions to put to a provider, what a solid answer sounds like, and which red flags mean you should walk away.
